The Strong Tower Difference
Ask Yourself…
What do you own?
Why do you own what you own?
Do you know what you’re truly paying for your investment management and advice?

Stewardship….............
My family and I attended church this past weekend (we try to be there every chance we can) and heard a very, very good message.
I’m sure I’m the only one who has ever sat in church and thought, “I’m pretty sure this sermon was directed specifically at me.”
The message Sunday was about stewardship.
Being an old country boy who raised cattle, stewardship is something I understand. I’m familiar with the verse about “the cattle on a thousand hills.” Psalm 50:10. When you raise animals, you know they depend on you. If we don’t feed them, protect them and care for them, they won’t thrive.
Yes, eventually we sell some of them. We can’t keep them all and give them names (as my wife and children would prefer!)
But while they are in our care, we are their stewards.
And that got me thinking.
We aren’t just stewards of animals, possessions, or money.
We are stewards of what, and who, God has placed in our lives.
My wife.
My children.
My family and friends.
And yes, my clients and the financial resources they have entrusted to me.
That raises some questions to ponder:
Am I helping bring out the best in the people, God has placed in my life?
Am I encouraging my wife to become who God created her to be? Not my version of who I think she should be?
Am I helping my children discover and become the people God created them to be?
Am I a good steward of my friendships and family relationships?
And professionally, am I being a good steward of what my clients have entrusted to me?
Their money represents more than numbers on a statement.
It represents years of work. Sacrifice. Families. Dreams. College educations. Homes. Retirement. Generosity. And, ultimately, their future.
That deserves stewardship.
So perhaps the questions for all of us are simple:
Where are our priorities?
Where is our focus?
And maybe most importantly...
Where should it be?
Life was meant to be lived in community. At church, at school, at the swim complex, on the ball fields, at recitals, around the dinner table and with the people we encounter every day.
Each of us has been entrusted with something.
The question is simply:
What are we doing with what God has placed in our care?
To my clients, thank you for allowing me to help steward your finances and your retirement future.
I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
It is humbling, and I am grateful for the trust you place in me.
Have a blessed day!
Brett
Last 7 Days.
Markets: Stocks remain near record highs, led by technology, AI, and semiconductors. Higher interest rates remain a headwind, with the 10-year Treasury near 5%. Oil has eased toward $100 a barrel, providing some relief to inflation concerns. (mint)
Federal Reserve: The Fed raised rates 0.25% to 3.75%–4.00%, reinforcing concerns that inflation may keep monetary policy restrictive. (Federal Reserve)
Geopolitics: Iran and the Strait of Hormuz remain the biggest immediate risk to oil markets. The Russia-Ukraine war continues, with renewed diplomatic efforts focused on limiting attacks on energy infrastructure. U.S.-China relations are also in focus ahead of Trump-Xi discussions involving trade, tariffs, Taiwan, and AI. (Internatzionale)
Bottom Line:
The market remains supported by AI/technology strength, but investors are attempting to balance that against high Treasury yields, oil prices, Fed policy, and geopolitical uncertainty.
